Grantor and Grantee names are indexed
LASTNAME, FIRSTNAME
When searching for a name, it's important to include an asterisk after the name. If you do not do this, you will not get the results that you need.
For example, to search for the name JOHN DOE, you should enter the following in the Grantor or Grantee field:
DOE, JOHN*
Notice the asterisk after the name.
If you wish to narrow your search down to a particular year, you may enter a year followed by an asterisk in the File Date field.
For example, to search for a document that was filed in 2009, enter the following in the File Date field:
2009*
You cannot search a date range.
We do not recommend entering anything in the Doc Type field. Documents are not always consistently named the same thing, so you may miss something. For example, if you were trying to narrow your search down to just Deeds of Trust, putting DEED OF TRUST* in the Doc Type field will only get you documents that were specifically titled "Deed of Trust". It will not pick up on any Deeds of Trust that might have been titled something differently.

This index contains various older record books that have been scanned (prior to the creation of the Official Public Records in 1985). These records are not searchable. You must already have a volume and page reference to look up.

Assumed Business Names
The documents in this index are from 1988 to the present.
You cannot search owner name, only business name. When searching for a name, it's important to include an asterisk after the name. If you do not do this, you will not get the results that you need.
For example, to search for the name MY BUSINESS NAME you should enter the following in the Business Name field:
MY BUSINESS NAME*
Notice the asterisk after the name.
Any words like "the", "a", "an" should be at the end of the business name. For example, THE BUSINESS NAME would be entered as:
BUSINESS NAME, THE
If you're not sure how the business name is spelled, you may enter the first few letters of the name followed by an asterisk.
If you wish to narrow your search down to a particular year, you may enter a year followed by an asterisk in the File Date field.
For example, to search for documents that were filed in 2009, enter the following in the File Date field:
2009*

The documents in this index are from 2002 to the present.
When searching for a name, it's important to include an asterisk after the name. If you do not do this, you will not get the results that you need. You must enter names as LASTNAME, FIRSTNAME.

DOE, JOHN*

If you wish to narrow your search down to a particular year, you may enter a year followed by an asterisk in the Date Filed field.
For example, to search for documents that were filed in 2009, enter the following in the Date Filed field:

You cannot search a date range.
Criminal, Civil & Probate
Our court records are not searchable at this time, but will be in the near future. You must have a case number in order to view court records.
If you enter a case number and get no results, then that case has not been scanned. See this page for instructions on how to obtain copies of the case if it's not available online.
Criminal and Civil cases from 2005 to the present are available to view online. We do have many older cases scanned, but not all are available. All ACTIVE cases are available, no matter how old the case is. All Probate cases are available online (from the 1850's to the present). We are constantly scanning older cases, so more of our older Criminal and Civil will be available in the future.
* Criminal Case Numbers *
Any case numbers prior to 061944 should have the letter C in front of them.
Any case numbers between 061944 and 090302 should have no letter in front of them.
Any case numbers after 090302 will have either a C or E in front of them depending on which court they're in.
If a case number is prior to 100000, you must enter a zero before the number (example: C095230). Any case number after 100000 does not require the zero (example: E100501).
* Civil Case Numbers *
You do not need to enter any special letters or numbers when looking up a civil case. Enter the number as is.
* Probate Case Numbers*
You must include the letter P before all case numbers. (Example: P12345)
How to Search Records
Click "Login" above. You will be asked for a user ID and password. You do not need to register to receive your own user ID and password. You need to enter the word "online" as the user ID and the word "search" as the password. Before attempting to search records, please read over the instructions below. There are specific instructions for searching each type of record. If you don't read the instructions first, it is very likely you won't get the results you're looking for.
