Expunctions


When filing a Petition for Expunction, the number of agencies that need to be served has increased. Re:SearchTX and Office of Court Administration will now need to be served with a copy of the Petition and Order to Expunge.

The below list of agencies is not all-inclusive. You should include any outside agency that has published your information concerning the charge/arrest. For each agency you include that does not have an email address, you must pay $25.00 for the issue expunction by Certified Mail, which includes mailing the Notice and Order.


The list below is required to be published and maintained by the District Clerk of the county pursuant to Seante Bill 1667, passed during the 89th legislative session, effective 9/1/2025
